It cares for the training and education in a way that meets the objectives of King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies.
King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies was founded in 1982 (1403 H) to continue on propagating the noble message of King Faisal (May Allah rest his soul in peace) which is spreading knowledge and science between Saudi Arabia and the rest of the world. The Center has identified his vision as to be a “wellspring of scientific, intellectual and cultural knowledge, for Humanity”, and there are 3 basic values that control its framework: spreading knowledge, empowering scientific research, maintaining the human legacy.
Therefore, Al-Faisal Center has designed the Ish’aa’ Cultural Program to serve the Center, and it includes a set of programs, lectures and events stated as follows:
First: Lectures and Workshops:
1- My Experience with Diplomacy: It is a lecture directed at transferring ambassadors’ experiences to specialists, interested entities, students and all persons associated with the diplomatic field or those whose jobs require communicating with the international and local public opinion like media practitioners, intellectual figures, imams of mosques, etc.
2- Know about Saudi Arabia: It is a public event to enlighten expatriates living in Saudi Arabia about the Saudi culture.
3- Man of the Arabian Peninsula: It is a public cultural event for expatriates who are non-Arabs to introduce the human civilizations and activities that have been taking place in the Peninsula since the pre-Islamic history, including Saudi customs and traditions.
Second: Training Courses:
1- Restoration and maintenance of manuscripts and documents
2- Indexing and classification of manuscripts
3- Specialized course in counterfeiting of manuscripts and documents
4- Scientific Research Skills
5- Roman bookbinding of books and printed materials.
