About the Institute:
A charitable, not-for-profit institute, Al-Faisal Institute for Human
Resources Development is part of King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies.
Established in 1421/2000. The Institute’s core mission is to contribute, with
the Center, achieving the vision of King Faisal bin Abdulaziz,
may Allah be merciful to him: “Saudi Arabia is to be a beacon for humanity.”

The mission of the Institute is to provide high-quality training
services and products that meet the needs of trainees, with continuous development and
innovation in training methods and use of technology
to reach the largest possible audience.
General objectives:
1- Supporting the mission and objectives of King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies
2- Preparing Saudi youth for the labor market and raising their productivity
3- Teaching the Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers inside and outside the Kingdom
4- Providing native Arabic speakers with basic skills for functional purposes and public life
5- Offering specialized programs for diplomats and others working in the diplomatic field in various areas
6- Building partnerships with ministries and companies to support employees and enhance their careers
7- Promoting the concept of “the right to knowledge” through programs for social responsibility

1. King Faisal program for Arabic language instruction
This international program aims to enrich students’ mastery of the
Arabic language and to contribute to developing language-learning methods for
non-Arabic speakers and Arabic speakers alike both inside and outside the
Kingdom through high-level training courses and programs, conferences, and
specialized workshops.

The Institute’s educational plan for teaching Arabic to
non-Arabic speakers:
1 “Arabic for Communication” program: 3 levels, 132 hours
2 “Arabic for Adults” program: 6 levels, 324 hours
3 Arabic program for children: 6 levels, 216 hours
4 Four programs for specific purposes:
- Arabic for diplomats, 110 hours
- Arabic for the medical sector, 110 hours
- Arabic for business and trade, 110 hours
- Arabic for the media, 110 hours
2. “Eshaa” program to
prepare youth for the labor market:
This initiative consists of carefully selected programs designed to
enable young Saudis to obtain certified professional skills in areas of labor
market need and operated in cooperation with the human resources development
fund and major companies. The programs aim to raise the efficiency of public
and private sector employees and to encourage job creation and the promotion of
Saudi competenices through “development and
replacement.”

3. “The right to knowledge” program
This program provides a set of specialized courses and practical
workshops to address several key areas identified by the Institute on the basis of in-depth studies of the market’s training
needs, with the participation of local and international experts and review of successful
experiences. The program areas are diplomacy, management, business and finance,
media and public relations, libraries and information, self-development, and the
law. The programs are aimed at individuals seeking to
maximize their achievement, happiness, and creativity.
